Love Love Love them

I'd been eyeing off the sidewalk pants for a long time before I finally bought them as I was nervous about my hips fitting (my waist is about sizes smaller than my hips)- but they are just perfect! I followed the size chart and chose the size based on my hips, they fit perfectly and the soft buttery waist band isn't floppy at all at my waist. They are so comfy to wear, easy to pull on and off and have no digging in waistband. The fabric is lovely quality and they are beautifully sewn. I'm a shorty so I did have to take them up a little. Now I want more colours!

Comfort and style

Bit of background, I’m about 170 cm and 90 kg, with a bit of a tummy. Comfort is my top priority and I hate clothing that digs into my tummy. My wardrobe is historically black, dark blue, dark green, etc. but I’ve always loved the bright colours of the clothes here. So this is me stepping out into a bit of colour.
The pants (size 16) are so comfortable. I’ve had sidewalk pants before and know that they just work, are comfortable, and look good. The grey linen is a really nice change from black that still goes with pretty much everything.

My go-to pants

I quite literally live in these pants. They are so comfortable and they go with everything. I’m usually a 16 in pants because I don’t like a tight waistband but the sidewalk pants’ stretchy waistband means I can size down to a 14, which actually fits me better around the hips and thighs. Tip: I also have the cotton version of these pants too and I find those are a bit more fitted. The linen has definitely loosened up more over time.
