The Goji Skirt returns with stunning Indigenous prints. A skirt that has everything you want. Length enough to cover the knee, just the right amount of print, plus, pockets! Yes, pockets. 

This is a slight A-Line skirt with a stretchy flat waistband. Just pull it on and it will sit flat against the tummy. Falls below the knee, depending on your height. 

The main fabric of this skirt is a stretch woven cotton sateen with a slight sheen. It will delustre over time.




AUSTRALIAN INDIGENOUS ARTIST : Christine Doolan
Language: East Arrente. Christine a well-known artist in Santa Teresa, a region located in the Central Desert of the Northern Territory, Australia. She comes from a family of well-known artists including Gloria Doolan. Although quite young, Christine is already showing signs of becoming a great artist. Her uniqueness comes from the bold use of colours and intricate details in her artwork. She is one the very few artist to use golden colours in her paintings.

 

THE ARTWORK: In the McDonald ranges and some other places of Northern Territory women go to collect bush food and fruits. It is abundant around the area. Women collect in the dry season to make the tucker. According to Christine, the fresh bush fruits are tasty and healthy.

Each artwork is fully licensed and is paid for fairly to each individual artist by M & S Textiles.
